What people appreciate about me
I am caring, understanding, creative and I am very much value driven in my work ethics and outside interests. Value should not just be seen as a monetary value.
I always aim to see the best in people and be supportive in their respective roles and help them develop their understanding and knowledge.
People appreciate that I will always try and give a balanced view and trust the advice I give and use me for knowledge of Social Care or finance related issues.
What is important to me
My wife, dog and cat and family and appreciative of life in general. Accept life for the challenges it throws at us.
I am passionate about ensuring that I bring value to the work I undertake and try and install continuous improvement. Sometimes marginal gains/efficiencies on a number of levels give large successes with minimal change involved.
I embrace that whilst finance is seen as a barrier and problem to many, I firmly believe in its integration and not isolation and it is very much part of the solution and not the problem.
How to support me
I am an early riser and prefer mornings so don’t be surprised if you get responses to emails before 7 in the morning.
I am keen to champion the work of the charity and carers in general who provide the hidden service which keeps health and social care running. Without unpaid carers, health and social care would be in an even worst financial situation.
I can be supported by being given the opportunity to be creative and developing and using available information to make greater sense of the financial numbers. I am a firm believer that there is never too much data.
