I was invited to attend an interview and subsequently a Board meeting in 2015. I then became a member and took on the role of Board Advisor. This gave me a much better insight into the workings of the organisation.
Being a trustee of Every-One allows me to utilise my professional expertise for a cause that I am passionate about. By taking on such a role, I am able to fulfil ambitions and goals that I feel make a real difference to the chaotic world we live in. Everyone has value and the potential to give back and that's why I became a trustee. Plus, I can use my HR and employment law skills to contribute to a cause I really care about.
