I currently run my own consultancy gdewsbury and in the past I have been a researcher who has worked in academia for many years in the field of using technology to support older and disabled people. Worked for social services and the third sector. Is an intermittent carer. Father, husband and MAMIL.
I ride a bike when I can, I also dabble at playing the guitar and my claim to fame is playing to Ozzy Osbourne when I was in my teens and he was married to his first wife. I played him Iron Man very badly. I am a vegetarian and have been for the last 40 years, before it became trendy. I don’t have a lot of free time as work and family always take priority.
What is important to me
Making a difference is crucial. Everything I have done has made a difference to people’s lives and hopefully made them better.Enabling people is also top of the list as I want people to reach their full potential no matter their ability.
How to support me
If I call for help, help me! Other than that keeping me up to speed with things really makes life easier.
