If you are a carer in Lincolnshire - you can find out more about the Carers Support Service here.

Carers & Employment

As a working carer it can sometimes be difficult to combine working with your caring role. As an employer, it can be hard to know how to support carers in the workplace. This page offers links, resources and information to both carers and employers about rights, duties and actions that can be taken by both to meet good outcomes.

Resources

As part of the Working Together project, Every-One produced the following advice sheet for carers and employers - Working Together - Advice sheet.pdf

A set of 'what employers can do' activity cards have also been produced to support employers to explore what they currently do and could do in the future - What Employers Can do - Activity Cards.pdf

A wide range of resources are available through the Employers for Carers website. SME's within Lincolnshire are also invited to activate a free subscription to this site - more details here.

Presentations

During Carers Week 2017, Every-One delivered a presentation at a series of events entitled 'Carers & Employment'. The workshop was run in Lincoln, Stamford, Boston and Louth at the events run by Carers First during Carers Week 2017.

A copy of the presentation is available here: Every-One Carers and Employment - Carers Week - 2017 - Presentation.pdf

You can watch the full presentation (in 4 parts) on our YouTube Channel here:    Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4
